The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement is critical in advancing economic development and fostering new investment. #USMCA will allow AR agricultural producers to continue trade with our state's largest trading partners. I encourage Congress to ratify this agreement. #USMCAnow
With a level playing field, Arkansas’s agriculture, manufacturing and small businesses can compete with anyone around the globe. #USMCAnow
Agriculture is Arkansas's top industry. USMCA will help ensure our farmers are able to adapt and grow
USMCA is a big win across the board for Arkansas. We will have more exports, more jobs, and rising wages. Canada has approved it and Mexico has approved it. It's time for Speaker Pelosi to bring USMCA to the House floor for a vote.
Did you know that more than 100,000 Arkansas jobs are supported by trade with Mexico and Canada? We need strong trade pacts that will continue to foster prosperity for decades to come – it’s time for Speaker Pelosi to bring the #SMCA to the floor!
Farmers produce the safest and most abundant, affordable food supply in the world. And we do it so abundantly that our trading partners are critical. It’s a critical part of our economy. Twenty-five years of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) has been good. It’s been good for Arkansas, it’s been really good for Iowa. And there’s no reason why we shouldn’t update it and move forward,”
The House has ground to a halt over impeachment, which means we’re not spending time on bipartisan legislation like USMCA. I’ve heard from farmers across my district about how this trade deal would benefit them, but @SpeakerPelosi still won’t hold a vote.
#USMCA is a good deal for #AR business & industry, will increase free & fair trade, & expand markets for #ArkAg products. I applaud @realDonaldTrump for working to modernize our trade relationships & increase market access for our farmers & businesses w/ Mexico & Canada.”
